1..Shadows are made by blocking light. Light rays travel from a source in straight lines. If an opaque (solid) object gets in the way, it stops light rays from traveling through it.

2..Translucent objects allow some light to travel through them. Materials like frosted glass and some plastics are called translucent. When light strikes translucent materials, only some of the light passes through them.

3..Rotation of the Earth is its turning on its axis. Revolution is the movement of the Earth around the Sun. ... The path of the Earth moving around the Sun is called an orbit.

4..When our body moves,the shadow region also moves because the position of our body is the reason of the position of our shadow. The light rays will be only blocked where our body is ,and that's why shadow will be also created where our body is. That's why shadows moves along with our body.
