Step by step explanation

(1) To form, these storms require three basic ingredients: moisture, unstable air and lift. Moisture in the air typically comes from the oceans and areas near warm ocean current evaporate lots of moisture into the air.

(2) Sea Breeze: During day time, the temperature of the land rises more rapidly as compared to the sea. It is because the specific heat of land is less than the sea water. The air above the land gets heated, and rises up. It results in the fall of pressure on the land. To make up for this fall in pressure, the cold air from the sea starts blowing towards the land. It gives rise to sea breeze.

(b) Land Breeze: During night, the land loses its heat more rapidly as compared to sea on account of its low specific heat capacity. So warm air above the sea expands and rises up. Thus, the air pressure falls over the sea. To make up for this fall in pressure, the cold air from the land starts blowing towards the sea giving rise to land breeze.

(3) Similar in cause (temperature difference between land and water, higher temp land pulls surface air in from ocean since higher temp is lower pressure, higher temp water pulls surface air out from land), different in timescale (over the course of a day vs. a year). Also different in that the summer monsoon is most noteworthy for rain.

(4) When cold air meets warm and wet air, the surrounding air currents become unstable, air pressure drops and the conditions for tornado creation are ripe. The effects of these devastating storms include: People killed or seriously injured and also ruins the property.

(5) Winter monsoons bring small amount of rain in southern part of India because the Himalaya prevent much of the wind and moisture of monsoon from reaching the coast.
