(g) Two coins are tossed 340 times and the outcomes are (i) two tail =115 (ii) one tail =100 (iii) no tail

Solution

Given;

⇒Total Number of Two coins Tossed = 340

⇒Number of  Two Tails Comes = 115

⇒Number of One Tail Comes = 100

⇒Number of No Tail Comes = 125

Formula

⇒ probability = (No of Favorable outcome)/(Total Number of Favorable Outcome)

So Probability of Occurrence One tail is

⇒(Number of one tail come)/(Total number of coin tossed) = 100/340

Probability of occurrence of three tail is Zero because According to  question Two coin is tossed so three tails is not possible

Answer

⇒Probability of Occurrence One tail is 100/340

⇒ Probability of Occurrence Three Tail is Zero
