It is in the shape of a cone.

Diameter = 10.5 m

Radius = 10.5/2 = 5.25 m

Height = 3 m

Volume of cone = 1/3πr²h

⇒ 1/3*22/7*5.25*5.25*3

⇒ 86.625 cu m

So, volume is 86.625 cm³

Curved surface area of cone = πrl

l² = h² + r²

⇒ l² = (3)² + (5.25)²
 
⇒ l² = 9 + 27.5625

⇒ l² = 36.5625

⇒ l = √36.5625

⇒ l = 6.046

Curved surface area = 22/7*5.25*6.046

= 698.313/7

= 99.759 sq m

So, area of the canvas needed to cover is 99.759 sq m
