Solution :-

Let kalia got K boxes, Sambha got S boxes , Mausie got M boxes .

So,

→ K + S + M = 3838

→ 7K + 7S + 7M = 26866 ------- (1)

also,

→ (M - 48) : (K - 23) : (S - 32) = 7 : 15 : 23 .

→ (M - 48)/(K - 23) = 7/15

→ 15M - 48 * 15 = 7K - 23 * 7

→ 15M - 7K = 559

→ 7K = 15M - 559 ------ (2)

and,

→ (M - 48)/(S - 32) = 7/23

→ 23M - 7S = 880

→ 7S = 23M - 880 -------- (3)

putting (2) and (3) in (1) ,

→ (15M - 559) + (23M - 880) + 7M = 26866

→ 45M = 26866 + 559 + 880

→ 45M = 28305

→ M = 629 .

putting value of M in (2),

→ 7K = 15 * 629 - 559

→ 7K = 8876

→ K = 1268 (Ans.)

Hence, Kalia have 1268 boxes .
