Next lets find out how much profit he got by selling some of them:

21*400 = 8400

= +8400

Now lets see how much loss he got by selling the remaining shirts:

19*100 = 1900

= -1900

Lets Add out profit and loss individually

Profit= 8400

Loss= 12800+1900

          =14700

From the above we can make out that Gagan made more loss than profit with these shirts. He made loss of 6400.
