Gairsain is a town in the Chamoli district that is situated at the center of the Uttarakhand state.

Gairsain is located approximately 250 kilometers away from Dehradun.

The Area of this town is 7.53 km². Hindi is the official man of this town people.

This small town officially becomes Uttarakhand’s Summer Capital.

A notification was issued by Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh and it has declared on 8th June 2020.
