galaxies looks stationary to our eyes but through constant observation we can observe moving
let us take our galaxy as example
our sun moves in a straight path and due to it's hard and strong gravitational forces it drags all the planets to revolve around it, since our ancient scientists believed that planets are revolving around sun in a closed Elipitical orbit but actually it's like spring which forms a orbit above diagram
so we can say that galaxies are moving
