"Gametes are always n cells.

Reason:

Gametes are nothing but the cells which are haploid in nature. They contain a single chromosome. The “male gamete is called as sperm”, whereas the “female gamete is called ova or egg”.

During fertilization, the” male and female gamete” fuses and produces a zygote which is diploid in condition with two sets of same chromosome or a different one. The gametes known as sex cell and are formed by the meiosis cell division method.
