◆ Gamma function -

Gamma function is an extension of the factorial function to complex numbers.

Γ(z) = ʃe^(-x).x^(z-1).dx

Properties of gamma function are as follows -

  1. Γ(n+1) = nΓ(n)
  2. Γ(n/2) = (n-1)!√π 2^(1-n) / (n-1/2)!
  3. Γ(1/2) = √π
  4. |Γ(ni)| = √[π/nsinh(πn)]
  5. Γ(1-n)Γ(n) = π / sin(πh)
