this is a great question that you had asked and it is actually a statement which was said by Gandhiji he said that religion can never be separated from politics but it is important that we should understand the meaning of religion which he used in this context he had believed that religion is not a particular religion it is just the name of the all values collaborated and accumulated like those of honesty truthfulness faithfulness the right behaviour etiquettes and many more Noble qualities he believe that religion is actually the implementation of 10 character and so by religion Hemant the good deeds that can be done by a person it is because of this that he said that religion can never be separated from politics because in politics if we don't follow any such atticates and attribute is of honesty truthfulness and faithfulness towards the public then we cannot have our politics successful he was not saying that by religion he went Hinduism or Sikhism Buddhism Jainism or some other particular religion because religion is the way to meet God and so God says to be honest and true and he is with you so by this he means that we should derive the moral values from the different religions and then implement them in the politics not just the superstitions that reveal a religion and have them applied on the politics because it cannot Run without the proper ethics and moral values and that we can only have with the nobility that we find in the religions
