Gandhi ji was indeed a simple man as he was a barrister (advocate) and at that time, an advocate could earn enough money to lead a fleshy life. Whereas, as we all know, Gandhiji didn't like that lifestyle. He did all his work by himself which was at that time considered to be done by untouchables or lower-class people. He didn't divided people on the basis of caste, creed, religion,race, gender etc but rather counted them as the children of god
