Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the most famous festivals celebrated in India. It is celebrated in the honour of Lord Ganesha's birthday.
Due to the COVID19 pandemic situation, devotees are celebrating this festival in their homes. Some of them visit nearby temples, make sweets and celebrate this day with happiness & laughter. This is an auspicious festival celebrated in Maharashtra. Maharashtrians celebrate this festival for many many days unlike other states. After the celebrations, devotees go to nearby rivers and seas for the "Visarjan" which means, they must put the idols of Lord Ganesh in the water.
People remember all these joyously celebrated days and wait for the next Ganesh Chaturthi.
