ganga &rakesh age are in the ratio of 7:5,monika & sonia age are in the ratio 11:7.if monika is as old as ganga then age of rakesh : age of sonia ?

rakesh=y
monika=z
sonia=p
x/y=7/5
5x=7y.........................1
z/p=11/7
7z=11p..............................2
z=x............................................3

now we want the ratio of y/p

subs. eq 3  in 1
we get
5z=7y
so...
z=7y/5
subs. it in eq 2
49y/5=11p
y/p=55/49

so.................
ratio of rakesh:sonia=55/49
