Ganga- Bhramaputara plain is over populated whereas Rajasthan is not densely populated.
Why is it so? Give reasons.

The Ganga-Brahmaputra plain has even topography and highly fertile soil. Hence, it can support a huge population.

But the Rajasthan is not populated due it's topography lack of water and full of arid soil.
