Hello my friend

Hope you are doing great

Here is your answer

Yes, Ganga Brahmaputra plain differ from soil of Deccan Plateau. So, basically we find fertile soil in Ganga Brahmaputra plain which differs from the soil which is found in Deccan plateau so basically Deccan plateau consists of Godavari river Narmada Krishna etc which mostly have volcanic soil and is not that much fertile soil than Ganga Brahmaputra plain soil . in Deccan plateau which its almost dry soil but in Ganga Brahmaputra plain we can find very fertile soil due to the flow of rivers mainly Ganga. Its useful to grow more crops in northern region than South Indian region.

Hope it helps
