The two rivers Ganga and Brahmaputra formed world's largest delta called sundeban delta. This two rivers are obviously perennial rivers, which brings lot of silt and fertile soil making abundant parts fertile to grow crops,trees,etc...As this delta provides lot of scope to produce high amount of crops in agriculture by making lands fertile.
putting all this in mind this delta is known as food bowl of India.
