During Aerobic respiration Oxygen gas is used which combines with Glucose to form Carbon Dioxide ,Water vapour, energy in the form of ATP and heat energy as well.
Equation: C6H12O6+6O2=6H2O+6CO2+38ATP+420KCal.
During anaerobic respiration no gas is used at all.Glucose forms Carbon Dioxide,Ethyl alcohol and energy, but no heat.
Equation: C6H12O6=2C2H5OH+2CO2+2ATP .
