the gaseous exchange in plants animals and insects is that plants absorb carbon dioxide from the surroundings of the environment and releases oxygen which is used and very essential for the animals and insects. on the other hand animals and insects releases carbon dioxide which is used by plants to make their food and perform the activity photosynthesis.
