Gaseous fuel composed of 70% carbon, 25% hydrogen and 5% oxygen is burned with 20% excess air. Air is supplied at 70°F, saturated with water vapor. Incomplete combustion has taken place on the burner and that analysis shows that the ratio of CO2 to CO in the stack gas is 3:1. Partial pressure of water vapor in the stack gas is 38 mmHg. Calculate a) the complete analysis of the wet stack gas, b) the volume in ft3 of air supplied per lbmole fuel burned. Assume barometer is normal.
