Hi!!
Here's your answer!!
Gases undergo diffusion very fast because in gases the molecules are far apart from one another as compared to solid and liquid. The space between the molecules is larger than that of liquids and solids the molecules of a gas can move freely in any direction. So the molecules of gas are not arranged in a definite manner.
Hope this helps you!!
