Given:

1L= 1.057qt

1 gal= 4qt

To Find:

Liters required to fill a 10.0gallon gas tank= ?

Solution:

∵1gal= 4qt

  10gal= 40qt

So,

Convert 40qt into litre= 40/1.057  ----∵1L=1.057qt

                                    = 37.85

∴37.85L of gasoline is required to fill 10 Gallon gas tank.
