The majorly grown crops in India are rice, wheat, sugarcane, oilseeds, cotton etc.

In India cropping season is classified into two seasons - 1) Kharif season and 2) Rabi season. And different types major corps grown in diferent seasons.

Major food grains which are used in human consumption- Rice,wheat, maize, milets, pulses and oilseeds.

This crops are mainly grown in West Bengal, UP, Punjab, Haryana, Bihar, Mdhya Pradesh, Tamilnadu.

Major commercial crops are - Cotton, jute, sugarcane, tobaco, and oilseeds.

This crops are majorly grown in Punjuab , Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamilnadu.

Major plantation crops which covers large areas are - Tea, coffee, coconut, and rubber.
