SP of Walkman = 100-10÷100×8000

=90×80

=7200

SP of watch = 100+10÷100×4500

=110×45

=4950

Total CP =8000+4950

=12950

TOTAL profit =950-800

=150

percent profit =150×100÷12950

=1500÷1295

=1.15%

Hey Mate,

Cost of walkman=₹8000

%of loss on walkman=10%

₹ loss on the walkman=₹8000×{10÷100}

=₹800

Money received=₹8000-₹800=₹7200

Cost of wrist watch=₹4500

%of profit on the wrist watch=10%

₹ loss on the wrist watch=₹4500×{10÷100}

=₹450

Money received=₹4500+₹450=₹4950

Total cost price=₹8000+₹4500=₹12500

Money received=₹7200+₹4950=₹12150

Loss=₹12500-₹12150=₹350

% Loss={(₹350×100)÷₹12500}

=2%
