Given:-

Gaurav's balance was 2000 in a month he deposited 300, 750 and 450 and issued cheques worth 700 and 1250.

To Find:

Find the balance in Gaurav's account at the end of the month?

Solution:

Gaurav's account balance = Rs.2000

He deposited 300, 750 and 450

Total amount deposited = 300+750+450=1500

Gaurav's account balance after depositing the money = 2000+1500-3500

Now Cheques issued worth 700 and 1250

So, Amount after clearance of cheques = 3500-(700+1250)=1550

Hence the balance in Gaurav's account at the end of the month is Rs.1550.
