Form the equation to calculate cost price of the motorcycle for Gaurav

Let cost price of the motorcycle for Gaurav = Rs. 100x

Since Gaurav Sold his motorcycle to Vikas at a loss of 28% Vikas

∴ Gaurav Sold his motorcycle to Vikas at

= Rs. 100x - Rs. 28x

= Rs. 72x

Now Vikas spend Rs. 1680 on its repair

∴ Cost price of the motorcycle for Vikas

= Rs. (72x + 1680)

Vikas sold the motorcycle to Abhimanyu for Rs. 35910 thereby making a profit of 12.5%

So by the given condition
