Answer:
GAUSS THEORAM
- Gauss theoram is given by Carl Friedrich Gauss.
- It is applicable only on closed surface.
- To calculate flux we consider only inside charges.
- Flux of a closed surface is independent of its shape and size of body. i.e., body is cylinder, cube , cuboid , sphere etc .
- For a gaussian surface incoming fluxes is always -ve and outgoing fluxes is always +ve.
- Flux is independent of location of charge inside the closed surface.

In physics, Gauss's law, also known as Gauss's flux theorem, is a law relating the distribution of electric charge to the resulting electric field. The surface under consideration may be a closed one enclosing a volume such as a spherical surface. .
