Let the number of quater be y

Dimes will be 8 + y.

And nickles 6 + y.

Now,

0.10(8+ y) + 0.05(6+y) + 0.25(y) = 4.70

0.8 + 0.10y + 0.3 + 0.05y + 0.25y = 4.70

1.1 + 0.10y + 0.05y + 0.25y

1.1 + 0.4y = 4.7

0.4y = 4.7 - 1.1

0.4y = 3.6

y = 9

Dimes = 17

Nickles = 15

Quater = 9
