geeta bought a book for rs. 3.05 and a notebook for rs. 0.95 . if she had rs. 7 2/5 with her , how much money is left with ?

Money spent by Geeta = 3.05 + 0.95 = 4

Money she had = 7 2/5 = (35+2)/5 = 37/5

Money left with her = 37/5- 4 = 37/5 - 20/5 = 17/5

= 3 2/5 rupees = 3.4 ruppees
