3÷2+x=19÷4

x=19÷4-3÷2

x=(19-6)÷4

x=13÷4

the time spent for doing homework for other subject is 13÷4hours .

Answer: 13/4 hrs i.e. 3.25 hrs

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : hours spent in doing homework= 19/4 hrs

No. of hours devoted towards maths homework = 3/2 hrs

To find : Hours given to other subjects

Assuming hours spent in studying other subjects as x

3/2 + x = 19/4

x = 19/4 - 3/2

= 38-12/8

= 26/8

= 13/4

Hence x = 13/4

Answer= 13/4 hrs

i.e. no. of hours spent by Geeta in doing other subject work at home is 13/4 hrs i.e. 3 hours 15 mins or 3.25 hours.
