Tapeworms:

Bilaterally symmetrical (which means both left and right sides are same)

Heterotrophic organisms

Proglottids are formed in the end section of the neck of the tapeworm

Sessile which cannot move on their own


And main purpose is to stay attached to their host animals

Lack digestion


They attach themselves to intestine wall


They absorb food directly through body walls
