we can say that free and fair electoral competition is a where all the political parties have right to contest is a situation where all the political parties have right to contest elections without any interference snd even there was no miss use of governmental powers. Holding elections of any kind is not sufficient . The elections must offer a real choice between political alternatives and it should be made possible for the people to use this choice to remove the existing rulers , if they wish to do so. So , a democracy must be based on free and fair elections where those currently in power have a fair chance of losing. Free and fair elections gives an opportunity to the people to elect their representatives as per their choice.

The national people's congress has the power to appoint the President of the country .It has nearly 3000 members elected from all over the China and some members are even elected by the army . Before contesting elections , a candidate needs the approval of the Chinese Communist Party . Only those who are Chinese Communist Party or eight smaller parties allied to it , are allowed to contest elections . The government is always formed by the Communist Party .

We can say that there is no free and fair electoral Competition in China because the power is being misused by the Communist Party in China .
