Nucleic acid is basically made up of the following three molecules.
(i) Sugar is the following two types
(a) Deoxyribose (b) Ribose
( ii) Phosphoric Acid P is the acidic trend of nucleic acid due to its presence.
(iii) Nitrogenous Base are organic compounds with nitrogen and are mainly of two types.
(a) Purine base is of two types.
Adenine (A) and Guanine (G)
(b) Pyrimidine base are three types of Thymine: 'T', Cytosine: C. And Uraceil (Uracil: U).
There are two basic units of each nucleic acid.
1. Nucleosides
2 . Nucleotides
