generally , brass and copper vessels are not used to store pickles and sour substances.why?

Friends as we know that pickles and sour substances generally contains weak acids and we also know that brass and copper are metals so they can react with acids( pickles) and cause wastage and also cause food poisoning.

We don't kept pickles & sour substances like curd in brass & copper vessels because they react with pickles & form poisonous substance which is harmful for us. These is why we don't kept pickles in brass & copper vessels.

We can kept pickles & curd in alloy vessles like
stell.
