HEYAAAA...

Generally, 8 valence electrons are needed for an atom to be stable..

Except hydrogen and helium....they requires 2 Valence electrons....

Some elements like hydrogen and helium requires 2 -e in outermost shell to become stable because they complete thier duplite...

But other elements requires 8, -e in thier valence shell to become stable...because they complete their duplete
