Absorbed form of nitrogen:

• Option “B” is correct i.e. NO3 (Nitrate).

• The plant absorbs nitrogen N2 in the form of NO3 (Nitrate).

• Nitrogen is the amplest gas in the atmosphere. In the atmosphere, it is found in the stable diatomic form. Nitrogen in vaporous form cannot be absorbed and used by plants since it is extremely stable and inert.

• Plants absorb N2 in the form of nitrate, nitrite and ammonium ions. Most of the nitrogen is absorbed as nitrate ions NO3 from the soil.

Hope it helped...
