Explanation:

one cell divides to give 2 bacterial cell...so at each cycle they divide result in 2 more bacterial cell in a manner such as...2,4,8,16..so on.

It is increasing in exponential manner (2)^n

and time will add up after every hour as 20 + 40 + 60...so on.

it will happen as follows:

1 baterial cell ➡️ 2 ➡️ 4➡️ 8➡️ 16➡️32➡️64

•so cell divide 6 times for 64 cell...

time= 20 ×6

= 120 min =2hr

cell divide for 5 time for 32 cell...

time = 20 × 5

= 100 min

But in the ques given no. of cells are 34...so the cycle will be between 5th and 6th.

time will be between of 2hr and 100 min

your anwer will be 1.5 hr
