Genetic drift takes place between the two sub population : (a) What will be the consequence ? (b) Explain divergent evolution .

When genetic drift takes place between sub populations as they are separated from each other,it leads to speciation or formation of new species from pre existing ones.as these sub populations are isolated,gene flow will reduce and thus new species are formed which are different from the pre existent species P.s. I don't know if the answer is correct or not.I wrote in my own words
