Genghis Khan, the leader of Mongol tribe of Eastern-Central Asia was a brave and strong man. He unified various nomadic tribes and founded the Mongol Empire in 1206. The Mongol Empire later under his successors became the largest empire of the world, covering an area about the size of Africa.
He conquered various territories to his empire but killed thousands of people during the conquests. He was a dreaded man and always used to loot and plunder. But equally he was a good administrator and took various steps for the administrative reforms in his kingdom.
He controlled the territory from the sea of Japan to the Caspian sea. Genghis Khan died in 1227 during a military campaign against the Chinese kingdom of Xi Xia.
