genotype is the desription of genes present in an organism whereas phenotype is the trait or characteristic which is visiblein an organism. genotype is always a pair of letters TT ,Tt ,tt (where T and t are the diff form of the same gene ..thus genotype of plant could be TTorTt whereas dwarf plat is tt ..
the phenotype of an organism is actually its physial characteristic which is determined by its genotype

the genotype is an organism is the genetic code in its cells . this genetic constitution of an individual influences but is not solely responsible for many of its traits.
the phenotype is the visible or expressed traits , such as hair color . the phenotype depends upon the genotype but can also be influenced by environmental factors.
