Geographical and reproductive isolation of organisms gradually leads to speciation as well.
Geographic isolation occurs when a population is divided into two or more smaller groups. Reproductive isolation means isolation of different species in the same area to prevent the interbreeding.

Sometimes, 2 organisms of same species can’t mate with each other. In this case when the organisms from same species can’t mate, it is said that a new species is formed.
