Answer:

The major causes of flood in India is mainly due to heavy rainfall and dam overflowing.

In Assam there was heavy rainfall due to that there was a flood. The people moved off to the upper floors for protection from heavy rain falls.

After that the the people and the rescue team had come to rescue drum and provide food and medicines through air force also.

Global warming is also a contributor to most floods.
Many greenhouse gases ( Carbon di oxide, carbon monoxide, methane) trap the heat in the earth. The ozone layer is also affected by the gases and thereby leads to holes in the ozone layer. This allows UV rays to enter earth. UV rays can lead to many skin diseases like skin cancer. Because the heat is trapped in the earth, the heat melts ice and glaciers in the north and south poles. Many animals who live there ( Polar bear, penguin ) are endangered because their natural habitats are melting very quickly with no time to adapt to these changes. The ice melting also leads to rise in sea level which leads to heavy rains and floods. If you have noticed ,in the northern side of India, there is a dramatic rise in sea level which therefore leads to floods. Some of the causes of global warming is air pollution, vehicle emissions and exhaust, fossil fuels, and deforestation. The lockdown has been a little help because not many people are using vehicles and they are staying at home. So we should stop global warming and save lives.
