Answer:

NH3 and H2O have same hybridisation but different number of lone pairs hence different shapes and different bond angle. H2O has 2 lone pair hence the repulsions among lone pairs is greater and thus bond pairs come closer to each other and the bond angel decreases. Whereas in NH3 there is only 1 lone pair, hence the bond pair are slightly more far away than in case of H2O.

NH3 has pyramidal shape and H2O has bent shape.

As we know, Lone pair-Lone pair repulsion is greater than lone pair-bond pair repulsion which is greater than bond pair-bond pair repulsion.
