The required distance between the points (0, -4) and (-6, 7) be

 \sqrt{ {(0 - ( - 6))}^{2}  + {( - 4 - 7)}^{2}  }  \\  \\  =  \sqrt{ {( - 6)}^{2} +  {( - 11)}^{2}  }  \\  \\  =  \sqrt{36 + 121}  \\  \\  =  \sqrt{157}  \\  \\  =  \bold {12.53}

Therefore, option (B) is correct.
