Solution: from the figure it is known that M;P and S are the midpoints of the lines they are on.
Therefore it divides the line into two equal parts.
That is;LM=MN;NP=PR and LS=SR.
IT is given that LM=9;NR=16;SR=8.
Perimeter of a triangle is sum of all it's sides.
That is RL+NR+LN
That equals to 2LM+NR+2SR
=2×9+16+2×8
=18+16+16
=50.
