nooption B = 7
as we know that segment joining the midpoints of two sides of the triangle is half of third parallel side.
hence, (SP)=1/2(LN)
i.e. 2(SP)=(LN)
2(3x + 1)=(10x - 6)
6x + 2 = 10x - 6
2+6 = 10x - 6x
8 = 4x
x=8/4
x = 2
now putting the value of x , we get
SP = 3x+1
=3(2)+1
=6+1
=7
