a signal is sent from ground station earth to the satellite . When satellite recieves the signaol then it gets active and send signal back to the ground station.

hey mate here is you answer.
when a satelite recieves a microwave signal from a ground station on the earth its amplifiers first amplify it thereafter its transmitters retransmit the signal back to a receiving station on earth at a different frequency hope it helps you please mark it as brainliest
