_______ Italy was formally united into a nation in 1861. The greatest problem in the unification of italy was the fragmentation into several political units each under a different authority. Italy, before its unification was divided into seven states : Sardinia - piedmont ruled by an italian princely house kingdom of two papal states, Lambardy and Venetia, ruled by Austrian, Tuscany Modena and Parma. Sardinia - Piedmant
took the responsibility of using Italy under its ruler, King Victor Emmanual 11 and Chief Minister count cavour. Italian state had to fight several war against Austria, Spain and France to them out of Italy.

___________ 1) In the 1800 the national feeling were strong in the heart of the middle class Germans.

2) They united in 1848 to create a nation state out of numerous Germans State.

3) But the only monarchy and the military with the support of land owners of prussia got together to repesent them.

4) Prussia assumed the leadership of german unification and minister Ottovan Bismark with the support of prussian army and bureaucraey began to carry out this initiative.

5) The unification process was completed aftet Prussia won three war with Austria, Denmark and France in JAN 1871. The Prussian king William, was proclaimed the German emperor in a ceremony hold at Versailles.
