Green house gases are in the former of emissions which can change the amount of it. The waste water treatment plants or WWTPs have a great performance on concentrating on elimination of wastes and maintaining a good effluent quality or they help in the removal of harmful bacteria and contaminated water including the aerobic processes which are happening during the working of waste water treatment plant. In maintaining terms they are oriented to provide a perfect balance between economic requirements and the total environmental impact. However, the release of greenhouse gases and it's energy consumption has put our efforts in eliminating them, at risk. They primarily produce carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide during the biological breakdown of the process hence impacting the environment, we can reduce it by modifying the conditions on they work on by cutting down on N20, CH4 and CO2 production by making more columns and adding more layers sludge tanks and sludge disposal tanks to avoid gas leaks from the three provided compounds.
