• Caste system in India:

1. There are four types of castes in India namely Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Sudras and Vyasa.
2. Brahmins represent the priestly and academic class of the society.
3. Kshatriyas Represent the rulers and administrators.
4. Vaishyas are the artisans, tradesman, farmers and the merchants of the society
5. Shudras are the manual laborers that work and clean the society.

• The caste system was made to divide the work among people according to their capabilities.
• Now a days Caste system is applicable in terms of reservations in the different fields.
• Profits are earned by the lower caste people as they are provided with a lot of subsidy and reservations. while the general class suffers a loss at the same place.
• Caste system should be banned and only the people with capabilities should be given the chance.
